An eleven-month formation experience with Dr. R. Paul Stevens for Christians who want their faith, their work and their life with God to hold together, and then to pass it onto others.
11 Months | 12 Fellows Maximum | Personal Mentor | Books Included
Faith was never meant to stop when work begins.
“There has to be more to this than Sunday.”
You already believe your work matters to God. You want a faith that reaches further into the decisions, relationships and responsibilities that fill the rest of your week.
Maybe you already believe your work matters to God. But believing it and living it are different things.
How do you face the pressures, relationships and grey areas of your work as a person of faith? How do you notice God’s presence on an ordinary Tuesday? How do you stop dividing life into “sacred” and “secular”? And how does your work become part of how God is forming you, rather than something you do apart from Him?
That’s what the Fellows year is for.
“I want to live it out, but I’m not sure how.”
You’ve read the books and heard the sermons. But what does faithfulness look like in the pressure, the meetings and the hard decisions?
“I want my life to hold together.”
You’re tired of living in compartments. You want a clearer sense of how to live faithfully right where God has placed you.
Spend a year learning with Paul Stevens and a community of experienced practitioners.
““In sixty years of investment in training and teaching the integration of faith and life, specifically with faith and work, this is the most fruitful thing I have been involved in.””
Paul is Professor Emeritus and past Academic Dean of Regent College. He has been a pastor, a student counselor and a business person, and has written more than 20 books on faith and work, including the Working Blessedly Forever trilogy you’ll read together this year.
He has spent sixty years teaching this material, and he built the Fellows year to hand it on. You aren’t just learning what Paul knows. You’re learning how he teaches it, from the inside.
More than a course.
A small cohort
1
Twelve people from different industries wrestling with the same questions you are.
A personal mentor
2
An experienced marketplace Christian who walks with you between sessions.
Teachers who’ve lived it
3
Business owners, pastors, scholars and executives join Paul through the year.
Room to practise
4
You teach, present and take questions in front of a group that wants you to get better at it.
And then pass it on
Most people never get taught this. You can be the one who teaches them.
Millions of Christians spend most of their waking hours at work with no one to help them make sense of it theologically. Very few churches have anyone equipped to do it. That gap is not closed by more books or more conferences. It is closed by people in the marketplace who understand this deeply enough to teach it where they already are.
So the Fellows year does two things at once. It forms you. And it prepares you to form others — in your church, your business, your team, your industry or your city. That is why the programme is small, why every Fellow is mentored, and why the year ends with you presenting a resource of your own rather than writing an exam.
You come as a participant. You leave as an equipper.
How the Course Works
Apply for the 2027 Cohort
Meet one Saturday a month, read and reflect between sessions, and walk the year with a personal mentor.
Four questions that shape the year
Meaning, mission, spirituality and ethics.
Meaning
Why does our work matter to God?
Grow with your cohort
Meet one Saturday a month, read and reflect between sessions, and walk the year with a personal mentor.
Mission
How does our work take part in God’s purposes in the world?
Build something you can use
Develop a resource around something that matters in your own workplace, church or community, present it to the cohort, and leave with something you can actually teach or lead others through.
Spirituality
How is God forming us through our work?
Ethics
How do we live faithfully in the pressures and grey areas?
What changes for you
A more integrated life with God.
By the end of the course, participants commonly describe:
See your work differently: Develop a biblical theology of work that makes sense of both its goodness and its difficulty.
Live your faith more deeply at work: Grow in prayer and learn to recognise God’s presence in the ordinary realities of working life.
Make sense of what happens to you: Reflect on workplace decisions, pressures, joys, disappointments and relationships through Scripture.
Find a community for the journey: Spend the year with a small cohort and a mentor who are asking the same questions.
And leave better equipped to help others in your church and workplace connect faith and work too.

What People Are Saying
“For while now I had this huge inner conflict trying to decide what to do with my life. I was particularly torn between the desire to go into full-time ministry or working in my field of Engineering because I had an incorrect view of what full-time ministry is and a false hierarchy of occupation. I only saw my work as a way to produce income and make relationships with people. But I never took pride in what I did nor did I ever think that it was glorifying God. I now know that my calling is to be in the engineering field.”
“After many years in the work world, the light finally came on — perhaps God had actually called me there. That realization was illuminating and profound: my work mattered to God. Sometimes the deepest encouragement is simply being reminded: when I go to work, I am still doing God’s work.”
“God quietly forms our character, faith, and hope through the ordinary pressures and practices of work. Sometimes the Spirit is waking us up to the truth that our daily work is one of the primary places God shapes us. Faith becomes real when it is lived in the actual conditions of work.”
