2026 IMT Annual Gathering & Dinner
Oct 3rd at Granville Chapel: 5:00 to 9:00 pm
Theme of the night
Blue-Collar Spirituality
So much of life is spent in ordinary, practical, hands-on work — the kind that rarely makes it into a sermon. This year's gathering leans into a simple conviction: that God is present and at work there, in the shop, the ward, the site, and the office, just as surely as on a Sunday morning.
It's an evening of dinner and community, honest stories from marketplace Christians living out their faith around the world — and it's the night each year when we invite friends of IMT to help fund the work ahead.
Keynote Speakers
Kevin Peters
Kevin, a helicopter mechanic, shares how he has witnessed God show up on the shop floor.
Byron Lambert
Byron shares his own transformative story of how God opened his eyes to the very medical research and development work before him.
R. Paul Stevens
Our founder shares stories of the IMT work around the world
From Our Clients“After many years in the work world, the light finally came on — perhaps God had actually called me there. That realization was illuminating and profound: my work mattered to God. Sometimes the deepest encouragement is simply being reminded: when I go to work, I am still doing God’s work.”

Dinner is on us. Our annual gathering is a chance to take care of our community, and invite people in to see the work. As well, the gathering is where we highlight areas of need, so during the evening you'll hear where the work is headed and have a chance to give toward it. No pressure to give— come and enjoy the night either way.
-
A full buffeted dinner is included with your seat. You'll be able to note dietary restrictions and allergies when you register.

The Institute for Marketplace Transformation exists to equip and send Christians to live out their faith in everyday work and public life — rooted in marketplace theology, and expressed through teaching, spiritual formation, and community. The Vancouver community has been integral to launching the work of IMT all over the world.
