Operations Leader (Part-Time)

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and operationally-minded individual to join our team and help IMT grow into its potential. The operations leader will complement senior leaders in the faith and work movement. You will be responsible for growing systems and managing operations to undergird implementation of IMT strategies. This includes managing and motivating volunteers, part-time staff and contractors. The position reports to the executive director.

To be successful as an operations coordinator you should be able to think strategically about how to grow an organization while you build rapport, provide good customer service, be organized, communicate well, and be a good team player.

Job Responsibilities

Operational Leadership and Execution

IMT is a small but, by the grace of God, growing organization.  Many hats need to be worn.

  • Manage and grow financial and donation systems

  • Facilitate strategic planning

  • Leadership for marketing and communications

  • Leadership for IT including website and platforms

  • Manage part-time staff, volunteers and contractors

  • Provide customer service for IMT inquiries and in support of IMT Regions

  • Organize global and regional retreats and meetings

  • Coordinate special projects for the Executive Director, for example, manage creation of annual reports and coordinate translation projects.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Substantial alignment with IMT’s Purpose, Beliefs and Values Statement

Nice to Have

  • MBA or College degree and 2+ years of experience in administration, operations, marketing or customer service

  • Experience working with Squarespace, Thinkific, Canva, video editing software, Microsoft365, Vimeo, Mailchimp, or Libsyn

  • Based in Greater Vancouver area or Southern California

Working Schedule and Pay

  • Work from home, with some occasional travel to events and in-person meetings required

  • Flexible hours

  • 20 - 32 hours per week

  • CAD $3500 - 5000 / month
